Drake, SK soon to be Annaheim, SK | We have an older 8x52 Brandt with a track mover and as Wheatking stated, in any slippery conditions, the track spins and you end up trying to push the auger hoping the track will gain some traction. I don't think there is enough weight on the track to be any good except on flat dry ground. The movers with the direct drive on the wheels of the auger appear to me to be a much better system.
That all being said, our mover still beats having one guy pull while lifting the intake end and another pushing on the frame - the old school way!
