| You are correct except for the number you listed is the variety number given to a certain cross no matter who's bag it goes in. The number that Stone or whoever gives it is the hybrid/brand number. I would not rule out that a lot of companies have varieties that are half related to the DK varieties. Take 63-42 for instance you see a lot of hybrids on the market that say do not use an SU herbicide with the pale green color just like 63-42. I am guessing there is a common parent on 1 side or the other. My guess would be the male but who knows. My 2 cents anyway. | |
