Subject: CIH stalk roll bushings, trying again

IL
I ordered a 1" threading tap, hoping it would work to extract the rbronze bushings out of the end of the stalk roll ( the dealer I work with said they use a 1") Well, it must be worn too much as the tap isn't big enough. I am going to check with NAPA in the morn to see what the next size is I can order. On the one roll I have off, I tried real quick to cut notches in with the sawzall and pop out the pieces. Must not have the cuts deep enough. Oh, well. am 2-3 weeks away from shelling anyway, And have lots of cattle feed to haul.
