Subject: 2208 Corn Head Maintenance

Mid-Missouri
Hello. Just got the 2208 Case/New Holland head out of the shed today. What are the important parts to know about this head. I have been using it for about 4 years now. I don't know the year but it is probably 6 or more years old. Do you put Case EP corn head grease in the row unit gear boxes? Every season we pump alot into each row it seems. How full do you make them? What others points of interest should I look into. Going on a 2588 now. I tilted feederhouse back hoping to get more corn if it is down. Hyd. deck plates. Where should they be adjusted. Where is the best place to get gathering chains and sprockets. We usually need several. TIA
