South central, Nebraska | There is a very inexpensive alternative to read SRAM cards into xp and maybe new operating systems.
I purchased a PCI to PCMCIA controller card from Ebay for under $30 and installed it on one of the expansion slots on the back of my desk top computer running xp. It was a very simple install. This card allows hot swapping, plug-n-play, supports 16 bit and 32 bit pc cards, 3.3v and 5v power, type I, II, and III PCMCIA cards. Window XP was the newest operating system at that time. I don't know if the newer op system are supported?
That worked well and was a very inexpensive way to read the SRAM cards after I upgraded to windows XP.
Ag Leader 2000 had a card size limit of 4mb. | |
