IL. | I recently aquired a old grain spreader, it runs well and I even used it yr.s ago, then it was set for a 18ft. bin and did a good job I want to put it in a 27ft bin now, it's a direct drive spreader with the motor in the center of the hopper, it looks like the bottom slinger can be pivoted up or down and there is a small piece of metal in the center that can be opened or closed, no name on it just says model E2 how do you angle the slinger and what is the center opening for? also is it better to have the grain drop straight down from the auger by using a flex spout or does it matter how the grain hits it?TIA Bob | |
