| Ed, how fine are the quarries grinding the lime over your way? The 2 quarries we pull out of grind it very fine, virtually a powder. Someone posted a chart put out by the state of IL Ag dept & the IL quarry's lime we pull from has 100% pass thru a 60 mesh screen. Other quarry is in IN & is a division of the same company & the lime looks to be as fine for finer than the IL quarry.
I tried liquid lime several years aho. I wasn't that impressed by it. | |
