I can't speak for the 1074 but the 1286C is a very well built machine. However, the cab is so darn loud that it about gives one a headache to operate the machine. Have you looked at a Nitro (Miller-St. Nazianz), Hagie, or Walker for the visibility advantage of the front mount boom?
