| I would see what Chandler uses for their hyd drive first. It might save a lot of time. I have Dickey-john Land Manager systems that work very well and are reliable since I put regulated power supplies on the controllers. I prefer Pulse Width Modulated hyd valves, not necessarily supplied by the control system mfg. I like the speed sensor that is built into a Char-Lynn hyd motor on the conveyer, but to use it you have to have a control system that supplies 12 volts to the sensor (I have been told this sensor will not last long with 5 volt Raven systems). Don't buy a used control system without the wiring harness, you will spend about the same amount as new by the time you are done. Putting together a system without a dealer is going to be a chore unless you have some hyd and electronic experience. | |
