Thumb of Michigan | The number 1 problem we've had with fuel systems on 3208's/1160's has been the solenoid. Easy to get at and fairly reasonable to replace. If you can rob one from a known working motor, should at least pinpoint the solenoid if thats the problem. Another thing to check is for leaky lines. I don't recall the symptom now, but we had a line rusting under one of the clamps on top of the motor. Wasn't always leaking fuel, but it did suck air when it wasn't leaking. | |
