Cedar Rapids, Iowa | Google doesn't provide any export method, which means they don't want you to export the images. I suspect it has to do with who ever holds the copyright on those images.
There are third party utilities that can extract the images from google earth, but I'm not sure the geo-referencing data comes with them.
Note that you might have to tweak the geo-referenced locations anyway, as the stuff in google earth may not be exactly right. I was playing with some KML files yesterday from a coverage map, and there was a 20' discrepancy between actual location and what google earth's images showed it as. | |
