It is the Presidential Election Year. It is only normal that the focus turn to politics.

By Thanksgiving, the focus will be on other things as well.

There be. of course, some politics involved in the post election talk about why or how the loser lost by either a large or small amount and why. Same with the winner.

By the first of the new year, there will be political speculation about what will occur with the new President and the Congress and how it will affect Ag, Ethanol, Taxes and etc.  

Football talk will also be in full force also with regards to who will and will not make to the playoffs and the Super Bowl.

Life will go on after the Nov Election is history.
