Our support guy told me that only newholland can make a NH NavII out of a Trimble NavII
Vice versa is no problem. Your Trimble dealer can make a Trimble NavII out of a NH NavII, just by overwriting the NH firmware.
Don't ask me why it's like this but it may has to deal with a special NH software tool which Trimble dealer doesn't have.
