Subject: RE: Auto farm vs. Trimble

First off.. you should know that we are a AutoFarm dealer... not a user!

I would agree both systems are great! Either will treat you great!

When it comes to treelines and base stations, well Trimble might have a little better radio. Something that you should know about is the new Flex mode that AutoFarm just released this week.

Here is how the flex most works, if you loose RTK radio signal it will roam onto the next best Dif source you have. So if you have omni xp then it would run on that until you get your Radio link back. A user can program this to the settings. 15 sec. 30 sec. 60 sec. or constant. Please note the longer it roams the more the accuracy will degrade.

I was testing this with our kubota RTV this week and it worked great. I was running in RTK and driving into a know dead spot in our network and it worked perfect. I was roaming onto WAAS and the customer was amazed he normally has to set up a repeater to keep signal in this area but with Flex he won't need it anymore.

Also, just for kicks I attached a couple pictures that might be of some interest..
