Mine has not showed up yet but I am pretty confident in saying that the camera is part of the gimble. To just change out just the camera would be very difficult since its part off the gimble. (The hybrid camera is a little different situation.) I'm pretty sure to change cameras, you will remove the two locking pins on the opposing corners of the gimble, pull the ribbon cable out and then remove the four rubber isolators.
I had no trouble with PayPal but would add that I use it quite a bit. I feel that it is pretty secure and gives you a little bit of purchase protection.
