I have no experience with the turbo till, but we did use a Salford last Fall and on a few acres this spring. I was very impressed with the results. Did not have any troubles from rocks. Used it this spring on a field of standing stalks that we did not get worked last fall. The ground was wet and quite tracked up. The salford did a great job of opening it up and allowing it to dry and managed the stalks very well.
