we were always told to run the back 4-6" higher than the front. this will slow down the crop a little more going thru the rotor (corn&beans) . don't know what size front tires you have but on our old 1460 we ran 30.5x32 and had rear axel all the way up. now w/ 2166 and 30.5x32 and 14.9*24 we are in the middle position. I'd try it this way befor changing it.
