| I had some of the same problems in short dry land wheat this year. I lowered the auger to the point of just barely clearing the carriage bolts in the floor at the very ends of the header and this seemed to help tremendously. It seems like the flighting on the auger gets worn down more toward the center and leaves more auger to floor stripper clearance. Also you may could advance the finger timing a little. I haven't done this but I think the header manual covers the procedure. | |
