Subject: Re: No-Till Drills

Amarillo, TX
I'm looking at Sunflower and Great Plains. Both are being used in the extremely heavy residue areas that we are in near Amarillo. What surprises me is that many of these drills I have looked at do not have coulters in front of the opener discs.

Now I am looking at a Great Plains 2SF30. Anyone run any of these? How do they act through corn on corn residue or corn-wheat-milo?
