Iowa
Just remember to roll in a set of rod and mains bearings at every 500,000 miles on a long haul truck or if it is a heavy haul application(dump truck, cement mixer, etc.), than one should put in bearings at 250,000-350,000 miles. If it is close to one million, it has probably had at least one head gasket installed. Hopefully it was done with the newest "double" torque-turn procedure that uses all new head bolts (torque bolts, then turn them to spec, now release/loosen all the bolts, torque again, then turn to spec for the second time). This created a much more reliable head gasket repair.
