Subject: RE: DRONE VIDEO EDITING

Lincoln, NE
Sorry about this - it was meant as a response to TDF . I put it in the wrong place.

BarnyardAerials,
With the Inspire-1 I always shoot in second level down 4K where I can get 30fps (actually 29.97).
Don't shoot at 25fps with Inspire-1
If you are on Premier Pro - you are on the right path. Great program.
Just a few things:
Make sure your video mode setting is NTSC and not PAL
Make sure anti-flicker is set to 60hz and not 50hz.
I shoot in MOV.
Consider using a ND8 lens filter when you get your inspire. (a must for me)
I shoot in "Vivid" color mode now - but will start shooting some in LOG with color grading.
ALWAYS use your Histogram and know how to read it.
Use your over exposure warning zebra stripes
If you error - error on the side of under exposure.
Rendering in H.264 compression
Make sure your output matches your input when rendering.
Since I shoot above 2160p - I select the highest YouTube render choice (MP4 2160p)
Start to learn color grading - a must for the next level - but an art you can learn.
At the end of "Fungicide" video - you can see color grading (the waterway was actually brown)
I never download from the bird. Always pull your card and go directly into computer - not a hub
Premier Pro is MASSIVE - many other things can be done to tweak footage and clips.

Just an incomplete list (there is more) I use with Inspire-1/Premier Pro.
Hope this help you, Barnyard.
