Subject: very happy for the most part

Oswald No-Till Farm Cleghorn, IA
For the most part I am very happy. It isn't an integrated system but does 90+% of what I want/need at this time.

I used an EZG 500 with Omni XP and EZ Steer w/foot switch on MX 210 MFD. "Seldom" used the markers on the planter this spring. Planted all the soybeans with markers removed from the planter. Great for reducing fatigue trying to hold a straight line. Great for extending planting hours after dark.... though I could only stand planting with the lights off for a minute or so out in the middle of an eighty. I used a semi-mounted planter. Markers are helpful to align at the end before the EZ steer takes over.

Photo is of soybeans planted diagonally doubling back with 12-30" planter using no-marker hands free EZG/EZ Steer at about 5.3 mph with no duals on planter tractor set on 60" centers.

It is a good start to auto steering. Dealer support is very important depending on your level of comfort with newer technologies.

Best of luck,
Tom
