Firstly, while the mojoRTK is providing the position on the CANbus, the starfire cannot also be connected. One or the other.

Secondly, as far as I know, mojoRTK is the only system currently able to emulate the starfire position on the CANbus. So yes the Starfire uses the CANbus for sending the GS2/GS1 the position. (this will also work with the GS1)

Lastly, the GS2 will accept a third party serial NMEA position for mapping and documentation, but not for Autotrac. mojoRTK does not support Autotrac with NMEA; it is via the CANbus which means GS2 owners get full functionality if they have purchased Autotrac (or Swathpro too I think).
