New South Wales, Australia | I am an regular reader of newagtalk and I am regularly amazed at the knowledge shown and shared on here.
I am wondering if anyone can help me. I am trying to auto steer a JD 9965 cotton picker. Don't ask me why, a long story. I would like to use GS2 ( this is what I already have). I realise that I could use an ATU but I would like it to be intergrated for better accuracy at speed (15-30 kms/hr, sorry not sure mph maybe 10-18 mph).
Have been in contact with JD, not much success, the local guys have been real good, but not getting much help from above.
Problem is getting a kit that uses the same hydraulic and steering systems and will talk to GS2, or making up a kit. Do I need a wheel angle sensor? How much info does the GS2 need (ground speed, engind speed ect.)?
OR am I missing something?
I would be very greatful for any help.
