Thinking about adding an airsystem to a new style JD head that has the step behind the cutterbar. Wonder if that defeats the effectiveness of the air blast. This would only be used for soybeans. Don't think I want to replace the reel, just add the system to the original reel. Any comments or experience would be appreciated.
