Like my friend/iron-trader says first off...How much you want to spend??
Second would be what size bale? 4x's are a whole lot easier to transport than 5's or 6's but if you are feeding at home the bigger ones are more popular.

Know what you mean about get the first cut gone so you have a chance at second, haven't had a decent weather window here since first week of May, have been a few four day stretches but not if you rely on weatherman predictions, In May we had two three day windows and June one, misty sprinkels every 48 hours or less, in between downpours.

Take a look at tractor house to get a feel for model numbers and brands.
