They are factory installed lights. I can't remember the cost off the top of my head. I thought they would reflect dust at night, they don't. However, with xeon HID lighting, they really don't add to the field of vision.
Back to the thread, I can't comment on IVT, but have ILS on a 8330. Probably the cat's meow for us anyway. Trying to trade a 8220 just to get the ILS option.
