Northern IL | That White planter will do an excellent job of planting for you, but the 8531's are on a Friesen bar and the tires are out on the front of the bar. When it is folded for road transport it puts alot of weight on the tractor drawbar. Then when it is in field position it doesen't put very much weight on the drawbar. You would be fine with the 4-wheeler on it but You might struggle with the smaller tractor. I wouldn't be afraid of the White I have had them for 25 years and they are the simplest to maintain and do a great job placing seed. good luck | |
