Heil Harvesting, Ulysses KS/Limon CO
29.5 feet of cutter bar on a 930 deere (why the hell is it not 30 on a 930?)

29.5ft * 12in/1ft = 354in

354in * 1 section/3in = 118 sections

1 half section/end * 2 ends = 2 half sections

354in * 1 guard/6in = 59 guards

59 guards - 1 guard to account for one triple guard to compensate for ends = 58 guards + 1 triple guard

so by that 118 sections, 2 half sections, 58 standard guards, 1 triple guard.

Same thing Hawken counted.

I built cutter bars for money in HS, got good at it, wear plates, tie guards, register, guard alignment/replacement, section replacement--So got good at counting/figuring etc.

Made darn good money, did it by the job. But wow there are some messes out there that people try and make cut--

*Edit--Guard is spelled g-u-a not g-a-u, who'd of thunk?
