Subject: Shark tooth shredder position.? (PICS)

Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND
Got a Shark tooth shredder grate to hopefully cut up pea and bean straw for a better seedbed next season. a question for those that have used this device, is there a best position to mount this thing, should I use it to replace the front ,center, or rear grate ?

Also using my faithful old 1482 as a parts donor for the 1480 that is replacing it. Spec rotor with Gorden bars, Axceller, Harvest concaves, Harvest quick tach cover plates Harvest fixed air foil chaffer and modified shoe sieve. all go in the new machine, plus all the other parts are spares for the 1480's. I hated to scrap the good old machine, but it's parts are worth far more than the complete unit.
Axceller had only done 100 acres of peas, so is barely starting to wear the paint.

Anyone need new pinto bean concaves and screen elevator doors for a 1480? The new combine came with that stuff with just a few acres of use, Don't think I will ever grow pintos.
