| We just bought our second vac, It is a fair sized one and will move about the same amount as a eight inch auger and a six inch sweep. The big diffrence is, It cost alot more to begin with, we use a 4255, and it needs fuel every 2-3 days, you need to use the shortest and largest suck hose. The biggest advantage to us is at the end of the day you are not wore out and full of dust. Also they are alot safer than a sweep auger, we got our's after I got wrapped up in our 6",luckily the belt's slipped. Ihave helped pull a neighbor out of a bin who was not as lucky. We also have alot of government bin's that we use the auger on till they stop running then go to the vac Ron E Central Ill. | |
