Subject: Re: yeild monitors

Creighton, NE
I used a PF Advantage for the past 4 years on a JD 9500 and had very good luck with it. It is best to have scales on your grain cart or have a weigh wagon readily available to calibrate the monitor and check it from time to time. I also used the monitor to direct drive a rawson hyd motor on the planter for variable rate seeding and had great luck with that.

I have since upgraded to the Insight for many of the reasons that Ted stated in the above post and have been very pleased with this monitor. I guess it all depends what you want to do and how much you want to spend. If you are remotely thinking about auto steer or maybe the ability to control two or three products at one time, then the Insight is the way to go.

With that being said, I still have my Advantage and 3100 gps that I was eventually going to sell. I also have the 21A light bar to go with that and all the cables for the rawson hyd drive. If interested you can send me an e-mail for more info. ( e-mail in profile )
