| I am using a 590 JD (borrowed from a neighbor)...How do I fold the hitch in to feild position without accidently folding the hitch farther than it is supposed to go(beyond transport position) and the header flopping over/ ahead on to the ground?I have been following the posted instructions but still have troubles.I figure it (hitch)should only go so far in the fold direction and then stop./ The telescoping bar seems to over extend and the hitch folds much like a pair of pliers.Then the windrower drops to the ground and the back goes up. It is all fixable by attaching a chain on my pickup and pulling the windrower backwards a ways so the hitch unfolds to near whereit is supposed to be. Then just back the rest fo the way and Click ....you are ready to go and cut. Am I missing a STOP on the telescoping bar that I am supposed to have?Or is something out of adjustment?
Of course when it drops to the ground , it is along the highway so every one can see it!(:
