Talk to the folks at Scale-Tec. We have one from them. We are currently trading our Weigh-Tronix scale head in for a Digi-Star scale. I believe the Kinze carts come with a Digi-Star right? Most of them already have a print button and a serial port.....does yours? If it doesn't, it will cost I would guess $150-200 to get that installed. Then the tape printer costs $400.

We have one but it is finicky because it is 10 years old. Hopefully Ken can get it working good again. They work nice with a Digi-Star head. When you pull up to the truck, use the "tare" button and it goes to a zero. As you unload it counts down so you don't have to do any math. When done unloading, press print, and the scale will print and revert back to the amount that is actually on the grain cart. Between trucks, we feed out a little paper and just use a sharpie or good pen to draw a line across the paper. Writing it down works good, but if you are using multiple combines or in excellent corn the scale makes things quick and easy.
