Nwmo | Several things to look at here, it is possible that when he makes the boundary he is not putting in the proper offset. On ours for instance we run a 60ft boom, from the center of the sprayer its 30 foot to the end of the boom. You have to put that offset in every time you make a boundary.
The other thing you have to look at is what tolerance you have your shutoff set at, if you have the direct command set to turn off when only one percent of section is over spraying you could leave skips and of course that wouldn't be counted either.
Another thing to remember is that boundaries in general don't take elevation into account however this usually accounts for more acres being applied than less.
