Central SD | JD had a good, straight guidance system. What did they feel they needed to change in their software? Did they have to change something for IGuide,ITec? The 4930 is ok, but I can see the hood ornament wandering around from one wheat row to another sometimes (12" space), other times it's dead on. But the line acquistion is terrible. Have to about have it on the white guidance line to get it to grab. I haven't heard any complaints on our 9420's guidance, but we did fight population uniformity on our planter (which is difficult enough with a vacuum planter). After seeing the posts about seedstar, I'm wondering if the seedstar update wasn't our problem. | |
