Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | No, if the Micro-Trak controller is still be used, then it will be providing the power for the flowmeter.
In this setup your "Tee" would pass the three wires straight through from the MT controller to the flowmeter as in the past. You would splice onto the signal and ground wire and feed them to the App Rate Module.
The ground wire might not even be necessary. The power wire might not hurt but I would leave it out to prevent any backfeeding confusion or problems back into the MT controller.
My first thought was that you would be using the MT flowmeter without the MT controller. Then the power would be necessary. |
