roaming | Nope. Can be loaded on a bench, or in a combine, or in a planter, or a tractor. Anything that will let the dealer's laptop communicate with the display. Put it in a planter and load combine software, or put it in a tractor and load cotton picker software. Or put it on a bench and load planter software. Doesn't matter what vehicle it's in.
The one reason that your dealer would need to come out would be if he needed to update your planter controllers (or combine controllers, etc.) (Although he can also do those on the bench if he has the right harness.)
