the orientation of the controller has no effect on performance, assuming that the controller is securely fastened to the vehicle in both cases and assuming that the roll sensors are calibrated in each position. if mounted on the floor, with the cables to the front or to the rear, the same yaw gyro is being used and the same roll gyro, and the same roll angle sensors for the same function. the yaw gyro is doing exactly the same job and the roll sensors only difference is an internal switching of right and left.
