Subject: Re: Ford LP engine- governor problems

NW Washington
Has the fuel system been checked and cleaned in recent history. I remember a poor running LP forklift that turned out to have a fuel system that looked like it had tar poured through it. After the local LP engine mechanic got all the goo out of things it ran like a top. And, here I thought we were dealing with this nice clean LP gas that let the oil stay clean forever. Wrong.

Just a WAG but if it is a 4 cylinder the engine might be the either the 134 or 172 ci engine that Ford used in tractors like the 600 and 800 series. Ford sold those engines as "industrial engines."
