Trimble's parts numbers r on the cable, Ag Leaders parts number for the same cable r different and only displayed on the plastic packaging bag. Very confusing if you have been upgrading for years and have a few extra cables laying around.
You still need a (9 pin serial -usb, cable) can get at Best Buy for $40. Plug 9 pin serial into green plug on controller and usb into laptop. After downloading toolbox and firmware, open toolbox the computer will tell you when to plug in the controller. You do not need to hook up your ez guide + light bar, just the ez-steer.
