Northwest Iowa | Anyone here put on a JD univeral autotrack on a JD 7420. Dealer installed and hasn't worked for them yet. They did a dtech search and discovered for a few years JD put heavier steering springs on that model. Ours is a 2004 and has the heavier springs. The dealer doesn't have a solution yet. The heavier springs cause the autosteer to "think" your hand is grabbing the steering wheel to clutch it out of autotrack. We could change the steering springs but then the warranty if void. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. | |
