Subject: Re: Installing ITC simulated radar cable in 8420

I did this to my 8120 a couple of weeks ago. I took the cab roof off and ran the cable down the back right post. Since I already had a radar unit on the tractor and was replacing it, I pulled the radar unit off and plugged one of the new ends into the tractor radar connector. There is a punchout area on the lower right side of the cab going inside, and I ran the other connectors into the cab, and hooked up one to my Raven 450. It took several hours, but I was working alone and taking my time. I have been able to use it some, and everything seems to work just fine. I need to calibrate my tractor display, though, so that all of the speeds agree.
