Driftless SW Wisconsin

I have had excellent control with the tube type sock with the dangling "flyps" I think they are called. Douse the sock with 1 gal diesel and a little 2 oz pyrem. (?) once a month and it seems to keep even the wf pretty much free of face and other flies. Here's a photo from last summer. Key is placement where they go thru it once or twice a day.
