Subject: Re: Outback s2 problems

SW MN
Just put in the first day of planting with s2 and edrive on jd 7400 mfwd 8 row 30 inch planter. I'am ab out 80 percent satisfied with it had good luck on short rounds 1/4 mile had more trouble with 1/2 mile rounds. Did you try to shift a b lines for me once you got started and did not stop for seed or repair seem to hold planter on line good. But when stopped to unplug a couple of times took awhile to get back in line maybe drift? I have mounted planter maybe I get less drift. I have trouble when I do End rows in contour then go to straight guidance in rest of the field when I come to the end rows it wants to make a hard left before planter hits the end rows. I went with outback mostly because of cost I was expecting 6 to 8 inch accuracy I'am getting that. Do you have tilt compensation? Looks like we have a couple days to work on it here in swmn 1.25 inches and still raining Good luck Tuck
