South central, Nebraska | Getting a chance to try a EZ Boom. I have an EZ Guide 500 and want to use it to replace the existing controller. Did a temporary install and got the boom section control working. The ez guide rate control was not performing well. I am sure it is just a matter of getting the correct valve type and cal numbers.
I'm working with a 1995 Rogator 854 with an older Raven 460 pre-serial port. I can't find a ID label on the flow control valve. It is the valve that adjust hydraulic flow to the product pump to control application rate. It has a blue cover about 3" x 6" x 6" tall. This older 460 does not have a valve type input, it only requires a cal number. I have been using 743. Not sure that is the right number but all I could find in the old book.
How do you ID the valve type and how do you convert these number to the ez 500?
