Northeast Louisiana | I did the same thing 2 years ago. I had put been on the phone and put it in my shirt pocket when I finished the call. I had to get out and check something on the drill. It was an hour or so before I realized my phone hadn't rang in a while. I went back and looked for it, calling it from my dad's phone, but never did find it.
When I got home I told my wife that I had planted my phone along with the soybeans. My daughter, 4 at the time, got very excited. She thought that more of them would grow. I told her than unfortunately, it didn't work that way. And even if it did, mine cell phone tree would probably take a blight and die.
