Sumner GA, Located in southwest GA,
Not enough to bother with. I had to water my vegetable garden for the first time this year. Starting to worry over cropland. Me, I'm thinking dryland needs to be planted now while we can still get into the ground, any irrigated need to wait till later. Weather forcast don't look any better. I do see irrigation on corn and wheat. Our oats could use some water, but they are chest high and the pivot doesn't touch it, nevermind the fact that they are chest high and fall pretty badly. I'm glad we are doing chickens, just have the feeling the well motor is going to run a little too much this year.
