| Not exactly sure what your problem is, but we also had a similar issue where Mother Deere didn't have the harness available. We (meaning my service tech) went ahead and made our own adapter harness. Our dealer was able to get the specs for the adapter harness and it also the part numbers from the manufacturer of the connectors. Our dealer then ordered the parts needed and made the harness. Hind sight is 20/20, wish we would have ordered it sooner when they were available. Hard to imagine that a harness could be out of stock, but so are the larger machines. Guess we will live it.
In the end this may not have been the neatest harness, but we did make it to length. We have gotten ours out for a couple days of planting between rains, system seems to be working properly - won't really know until it is too late and the corn is out of the ground.
As far as the prior posts - can't beat the service I get from my local Green Store. | |
