Subject: Putting GS2 Rate Controller on Tractor?

Dix (Boyd), IL
Has anyone tried to mount their rate controller on your tractor rather than the implement? I want to use mine on both a Redball 570 sprayer and a JD 1780 planter (just for the clutches - no variable rate). I was hoping to be able to mount the controller on the back of the tractor so that I don't have to move it every time I go from spraying to planting. Obviously, I'd have to have the right length of harness on the implement beyond to controller. Any thoughts?
